One of DX3 Canada’s goals is to take digital education to the next level. That means providing opportunities for retailers, marketers and advertisers to engage with products and share ideas with industry leaders in a hands-on environment.
A lot of this stuff will happen in the recently-announced “Intertainment Media Incubation Zone” (IMIZ).
Canada has many formalized incubation programs, including Ryerson’s Digital Media Zone, the Impact Entrepreneurship Group, and OCAD’s Mobile Experience Innovation Centre.
These programs work to cultivate leadership and innovation in Canada’s technology sector by providing the resources and support entrepreneurs need to up their game.
DX3’s IMIZ will put these programs to the test by giving them the stage to showcase their talent and ideas in a friendly competition.
Participating program members will partake in a “pitch-off” contest where they will present their ideas to a panel of judges over the course of the trade show.
And the winners won’t just get the glory: they will walk away with a combination of cash and professional services for a combined value of $20,000, in addition to the opportunity to work with Intertainment Media for one year.
The point is to offer a platform to showcase Canada’s burgeoning technological innovators to a responsive audience.
Stay tuned for more on the Incubation Zone as we speak to participants in the lead up to DX3.
Now who’s going to win? Let the pitching begin….
